Direct Therapist/Paraprofessional

Job Description:

  • Direct therapy in homes and schools
  • Interact with students using techniques based on the principles of ABA and VB
  • Collecting and analyzing data on client progress on a daily basis
  • Attending periodic teamings
  • Continuing professional development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Achieved or working toward degree in related field (education, psychology)
  • One year's experience working with individuals with developmental delays or behavioral challenges
  • Familiarity with ABA and VB principles
  • Experience with interventions to address maladaptive behaviors

Consultant/Behavior Analyst/Behavior Specialist

Job Description:

  • Conduct a range of behavioral and curricular assessments
  • Develop positive behavior supports in home and school setting by implementing advanced techniques to address maladaptive behaviors
  • Develop programmed interventions for skill deficits
  • Create goals, objectives, and materials
  • Maintain records and books for individual cases
  • Conduct weekly staff training and workshops
  • Participate in regular team meetings and company activities
  • Work interactively and sensitively with parents to provide training and support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in related field (psychology, education)
  • Advanced coursework in applied behavior analysis and/or working with children with disabilities
  • Two years experience working as a team leader or consultant
  • Functional understanding of advanced ABA principles
  • Experience teaching functional communication and social skills
  • Staff training experience
